21.3.2009 Laksa in Parit Buntar

As what I mention above, today we go for Laksa in Parit Buntar. The location of the stall is hidden in a rural village in Parit Buntar. Since 1 of my friend knows the location for that, so we didn’t get lost. We go there at around 10.45am and the stall is not yet starts their business and we plan to hang out our time at supermarket first, before the stall start their business at 11.30am.

laksa

We go back to the stall at the time and we found that there are a lot people stay at there. Some are queuing for tapoa and some waiting for the seat. It is quite terrible because the shopkeepers can’t even stop their work for preparing the laksa and we estimate that they able to produce more than 800 bowls of laksa, not per day, because the giant amount of laksa will be sold out in about 1 hour. Since we wasting long time for waiting, so all of us eat 2 bowls for revenge. It is cost RM 2.20 per bowl and the stall will only business at Saturday and Sunday only.

"Penang Sakura"or called “tecoma” in scientific name.

In the way of going back to school, we saw this “Penang Sakura” or called “tecoma” in scientific name. It is quite beautiful and it available in pink and white colour, but the period for the flower from blossom to fade is just in about 10 days.

beautiful.. of course, this is real sakura in Japan

7.3.2009 ‘TAO 道’ , I’m coming with my empty stomach

here, TAO... we are ready to take our challenge.

Hehe, today is the first time we go for “TAO” restaurant which is located at Autocity, Juru. For sure, of course KW will be our driver. Totally 4 of us go to challenge ‘TAO’ with our empty stomach and ready to swallow as much as food as we can. We went there at the afternoon without eating any breakfast.
inside the restaurant

We reached there at around 1.30pm and start to take ‘some’ sushi to warm up our stomach.
Then, we start to order the dish. ‘Em, this one gives me 4 sets, and this and this as well as this…… all give me 4 sets’ Wao, sound very good and cool.. ^^
sushi
don't know what is that, steamed salmon fish kua.

baked mushrooms

also a kind of fish meat

scallop

fried prawn

salmon fish again with cheese

The Salmon fish is very delicious la, I like it very much, and the fish meat is very thick and fresh.

I had ate 3 to 4 dishes, just for this kind of salmon fish.

All the food in the restaurant is quite nice, and really worth for it because there are many expensive foods is being served such as salmon fish, scallop and abalone.
Hmm… this is the most luxuriant meal I haven’t taste before, even it cost RM57 for each person with tax, but it is this worth for that. Once should remind you, you are welcome to eat as much as you can, but don’t waste food. Every 100g of food wasted they will charge you for RM 10.

Hmm, I will bring my parents to this restaurant, promise…

The 5th Anniversary SMKST Gathering

5th Anniversary SMKST Gathering

Happy Chinese New Year

The 5th anniversary SMKST gathering is held on 29 January 2009 which is the fourth day of the Chinese New Year. There are total about 15 of us join the gathering which organize by Lim and Low in Lagunan Merbok.

one of the photo taken after dinnerLok , Ong and me. Sorry Choo, I don't have the photo that taken individually with you.

the most serious photo, and this going to drop my jaw

The event start at around 8.30pm and we wait all of our members to arrive before we start our dinner. At the same time, we chat with one of our friend---Ooi, which stay at oversea for her study via webcam. Of course we took a lot of photos before and after our dinner.

Lok is taking the video and going to interview all the members 1 by 1

acting cool with Ong, Neoh and Choo ( from left)

Actually the gathering is quite simple and until now I’m still trying to recall back what we had done for that night, other than eating and photographing to write in this blog. We don’t even have a good communication section for us to understand what happen to each other and about 15 of us have divided among ourselves to several “small group”(unfortunately not for any station games), and we are hardly to get into the boundary of them seem we don’t have too much common topics to share. This is not mean that we are strangeness with them, but don’t know why… this is quite weird in some aspect. Some of them even got their girlfriend’s voice and keep on chatting in the phone and enjoy their call. I’m not blaming anyone here because I knew that these situations are going to happen naturally, which cannot be avoid because life is no more as simple as we are in secondary school.

again ...zzz

The most disappointed was the final discussion section… … until now I still don’t know what are the purposes of the discussion and even the outcome of the discussion. I agree that all of us need a meeting to discuss how the following gathering to going on in the coming year, but why the discussion need to becomes so “democracy”, until everyone have given a chance to vote for that thing (those who attended they will know). For me, voting likes this is good, but it is totally wrong coming with the timing like that. Furthermore, the word “money” keeps on floating in the air. Undeniable money is extremely important and the gathering cannot progress without it, but once the word “money” comes out too many times, you will know what will happen to the atmosphere around us. Again, money is important but this word totally came out too many times at the wrong timing.

Is that this photo carrying some hidden meaning among ourselves??

However, thanks a lot for those who attended or not attend the gathering (as long as you are 1 of our SMKST member but cannot attend due to some difficulties, we understand it) and again for our organizers which sacrificed a lot of time from planning until the end of the event, thanks.

Finally, I sincerely hope that we will cherish our friendship … …forever.

Postscripts: I’m not going to criticize any of you, because as I mentioned before--- life is no longer simple as we are in secondary school, 问题不是偶尔才有的,问题是人生的一 部份。

friendship forever ++ our cameraman---Lim, total 15 members.

The day before Chinese New Year

Sohai of the day... wakakak.. I'm bad :P Don't worry, they won't see this

The Chinese New Year was falling in 26 January, and that week is the mid semester break for us. For sure, all of us are very busy with unstoppable tests, quiz, assignment… … as well as the lab report. All of the homework no matter should due during the week of Chinese New Year via email or before and after the Chinese New Year should submit at the end of that week, because we don’t want to leave any loads or problem after the week.

Oh.. got somethings drop from the construction area... Don't hit our new forklift ya, it is very expensive.. :P

The lab we do at that week is to test the various factors that affect the results of bending and shearing of metal plates. Undeniable, this is a boring lab and we should rush to complete the lab report until 12:30am. By the way, this is consider okay for me and the most annoying is the assignment that I need to complete it before 12pm for the next day using MATLAB( because I need to rush for my bus at 3pm). The problem is--- I’m totally new to this software.zzz.
As a conclusion, the condition facing by most students before and after New Year is --- tension follows by happy, then back to tension again. In reality, this is face by all people, I think.

haiz...finding happiness in suffering... enjoy ya

Mechanic Night 2009

This year, mechanic night was held in Jawi Golf Club on January 2009. The theme of the night is “Beach Night”. So, for sure we should wear beachwear to attend this event, but I don’t have beachwear and also didn’t manage to buy it just for the purpose to attend this event. So? I wore a short pants and normal T-shirt at that night. I’m not the only one that wore like that. In fact, there are plenty of such people same as me. ^^ so bad, if all people wear like me to attend the event sure will spoil the event.

I'm not purposely wear like this geh...Sorry for making the scene becomes not harmony.

Actually the event is nice, because we enjoy with the plenty of games and shows that prepared by our juniors. Unfortunately, the food prepared at that night is totally not enough and really bad, and this makes we feel that our money is mostly pay for the venue rather that the food. After the end of the event, we went to the mamak stall which located just opposite our school to fill up our empty stomach before we go back to hostel.

Just post some photo for mechanic night 2008. The theme at that year is “Formal Night” which I hate so much, because I don’t like to wear formal….At all...zzz

Time for me to be a tour guide to SP (9.1.2009)

Kedah, mean that you will see this --- paddy

After a few week of planning, totally 3 friends, there are PC (Malacca), Joshua (KL) and KW (Perak) come to my hometown, SP and plan to have a short trip here. For sure, I’m their tour guide for these 2 days in SP.

After the class, we start our journey and the first place I brought to them is 二街. We ate some local food and then walked to the stall located beside bus station to taste the ice-blended drink. Then, we go back to my house and take a nap first before we continue to the next location.

our dinner

The next place I brought to them is Centre Square. We walked around the mall and having our dinner at a restaurant over there. Seem nothing special in Centre Square, we decided to move to Village Mall and then to the Tesco which is just opposite to each other.

the picture we took in Village Mall, Joshua, me and PC

We went back to my house at almost 11pm. 4 of us stay in a room and talk something 38 about each other. At that time we didn’t call the conversation as ‘’38 conference’’ but to some sound that makes more sense, called ‘’pillow talk’’ zzz. Actually that is quite enjoying, talking rubbish while eating junk food which purchased from the supermarket. Of course, 3 of them sure got this golden opportunity to look at my preterit photos and keep teasing me about that, I mean is my look at that time, quite annoying la…opss, no picture had been taken in this section.

The next day morning, we got to take our breakfast at Yupe and then continue to travel to the following location as we planned yesterday --- Lembah Bujang. Actually I don’t know how to go there but I know that as we follow the road to Gurun, sure we will see the sign board beside the road to guide us go to that place. Still remember that I and Joshua sit at the back of the car and this mean that PC is sitting beside the driver, KW. So, I let him to notice the sign board along the road. Then, he saw a sign board, wrote there “ Lembah Bujang , <-- , 17km’’ , this fella interprets the meaning and told us “ Nah, Lembah Bujang, go straight 17km and then we will come to a junction and we turn left” . So what is happen to the next?? We only found that we are tired finding the “ junction’’ and that PC still keep on blaming the government that assign the wrong sign board…zzz. Let us kick him to Holland… damn la, this undergraduate.

the spirit of Kampung boys

quite hot and KW starting to hasten us to get back to the car... haha

another photo about paddy field

For the sake of don’t let we feel that we are wasting almost 2 hours for nothing, we stopped our car beside the road and take some photo of paddy field before go back. Of course, 3 of us keep teasing PC along the journey go back to my house until we tired. So funny.

ps: this is my first time to visit paddy field even i am from Kedah. These scenery located in Yan, Kedah.

Trip to KL

After the trip at Malacca, we went to KL for the next station. We took the bus from Malacca to KL at around 1.30pm… too bad, my friend from Malacca didn’t come out to meet me as he promised me 1 month ago, but is okay, forgive you la… We reached KL at around 3.15pm and we took LRT to the station near to the hotel we going to stay in for 2 nights. After taking rest and bath, we take the LRT to Sungai Wang and Time Square… just for window shopping.

the Christmas decoration in Sunway Pyramid Mall

having our dinner

OMG... in the lift
On the way going back to hotel

The next day, we went to Sunway Lagoon and after that to Sunway Pyramid Mall which is next to it. That is a quite tired trip because Sunway is located quite far from the hotel we stayed, and we didn’t take much photo for that because everyone are almost wet in the water park.
The 2nd days in KL, we went to the KLCC for just a moment before we go back in the evening. Again, we only took some photos there because we have to rush back to the bas terminal at the time.KLCC

friendship forever ^^

Overall, this five-day-four-night trip is a nice trip for us and we all really enjoy it even we spent a lot of money for that, (of course, this can consider as a lot for us)… but at least we contribute to the Cuti-cuti Malaysia in the moment of economic crisis…
hope for another nice trip next year... ...
